"Precious in the Sight of the Lord...

...is the death of his saints." - Psalms 116:15

Yesterday at 8:50 PM, my aunt Lora Heiman went home to be with the Lord. We will miss her so much, but we are so thankful that she’s finally out of pain and so happy. She had such a huge influence in my life and on the lives of others, and her testimony in the past three years during her battle with breast cancer was such a blessing and encouragement to me, which I hope to share more about in the near future. She was my biggest cheerleader, always letting me know that she believed I could do anything. And I’m going to miss her so much. But the horrible suffering she went through is over, and I wanted that for her more than anything, so I am truly so happy for her. Our family has such incredible peace that only God can give. His way is perfect and He makes no mistakes. He used Aunt Lora’s life to touch so many people, and that legacy will live on forever.

Please continue to pray for our family, for my grandma and my aunt’s dad, that the Lord will continue to comfort as He has all ready done.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:28, 35-39

I'm so sorry for your loss, but I'm glad your aunt is out of pain and in the presence of the Lord. Your family will be in my prayers as you deal with this temporary parting.
