Not sure if you've heard this, but as of tomorrow, March 1, 2012, Google is shutting down Google Friend Connect. To be completely honest, I'm not 100% sure how that all works (I'm terribly computer illiterate, so I'm like, ohhh...have I been using Google Connect all this time?!) but apparently non-bloggers might just lose the blogs they follow...does that make sense? Yeah, me neither. I did find this link that talked a bit about it...but still, confusing.
I personally use Google Reader to keep track of the blogs I follow, and as far as I can tell, Google Reader isn't going to have problems with this change. Either way, just thought I'd throw that out there...I've just gotten to 115 followers and I'd hate to lose any of you! :-) There are several different ways to follow blogs, so I've heard...ack, I am so not the person to explain all this. :-D The intent of this post is to warn everyone to be prepared! :-)
See everyone tomorrow...I hope! :-P

It says it's being retired for non-blogger blogs, so I suppose that means that all of us on blogger will be ok. I think.

I am feeling more confident that maybe only non-Blogger blogs will lose the use of GFC, but... don't quote me on that, Alexandra!! Thanks for leaving that link - I really appreciated that. =)
