Day 2: Coffee and Chocolate
Day Two's topic in the All the Single Ladies Blog Party is Coffee and Chocolate, and it is perfect timing. It is that glorious time of the month (as in February, although you know how it is...) when chocolate is needed in abundance. Dark chocolate. Also dark chocolate Chex mix works really well, too. Because I'll pick Chex mix over chips any day.
So have you tried it? It's like Chex mix, which is all ready awesome, ramped up ten million times by having the chex mix coated in like, dark chocolate powder. With dark chocolate-covered pretzels and puppy-chow chex and M'N'Ms and little round chocolate cookies. Very addicting. I'm not going to lie, I will eat a whole bag without realizing it.
Anddddd coffee. Also a need, especially lately with early morning rising becoming a needed, if not desired, trend. Although too much caffeine sets me on a crazy hyperventilating mode. Like right now. If my post is incoherent it's because I've been up since five and I'm chugging a Caramel Macciato.
And because I'm rather brain-dead from said early morning rising, caffeine bursts and super-ridiculous-hectic schedule, my contribution to today is a romantic/comical song sung by Kristin Chenoweth, "Taylor the Latte Boy". Because it's hilarious, because I adore Kristin, and because it's about coffee. Enjoy.
(And kinda-sorta-related to Kristin but totally unrelated to Valentine's Day...there's a 99.99% chance that I will be seeing Wicked when it comes here in October!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THROUGH THE ROOF excited, peeps!!! Anyway).
So enjoy!

I love, love, love that song! Have you seen Taylor s response? It's funny too, but also kind of sad! =)
Oooh...gotta get me a bag of that stuff! Sounds delish! =D
And I *love* that song! So appropriate--& I am SO jealous you get to see Wicked!!!!! HOW EXCITING! ENJOY IT--& take lots of pictures & tell us ALL about it! <3
Kristin: Who'd-a-thought love could be so caffeinated...?
Me: Wait, what? It is? THEN I DON'T WANT ANY.
:p
HILARIOUS song. I heard part of it on Pandora one time but didn't get to finish it... what was I MISSING. That was awesome. Loved it. And I'll admit it hit pretty close to home, too, because... cough... I've been guilty of the "ohmyword he put a triple in my coffee instead of a double, IT'S FATE, HE LOVES ME, WE SHOULD GET MARRIED."
Even though I've never actually been to Starbucks. But it works with other things too. :P
